 Mrs. Kay Watson's 2nd Grade Class was awarded

"Reading Model Classroom"
from Renaissance Learning Inc.
for the 2007-2008 school year.

This Certification shows that Mrs. Watson has adopted the best classroom practices for her students resulting in measurable improvements in their reading performance.

Students must maintain 85% average correct on A.R. tests and they celebrate together as they reach their reading goals.  Each student works at the level that promotes the most growth for them.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 tells us to “encourage one another and build one another up…”  We are aware of the awesome accomplishments of our students here at FBS, but don’t always hear about what our students are accomplishing in their lives away from school.
