	Music Mrs. St. Peter will be teaching music to children in Preschool through 5th grade. Students will have music class twice a week.
	Family Reading Night Friday, August 22nd following the Volunteer Parent Orientation and PTO meeting at 6:00 p.m. all students and parents are invited to go to their classroom for milk, cookies and a book. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Reading a book right before bed is a great habit to get into. Come join us for something we hope you will continue throughout the year at home.
	Yearbook The 2007-2008 Yearbook is available to purchase in the school office just in case you did not have an opportunity to order last year. Thank you to Donna Nelson, Laura Tyra, Melissa Ponce and Mary Sissamis for creating the BEST yearbook First Baptist has ever had!!
	New Lunch Policy for Preschool-2nd Grade PLEASE NO MICROWAVEABLE FOOD! Children at this age are too young to use the microwave and the teachers have other duties at this time. Preschool and Pre-K teachers are assisting students by opening things and teaching them how to eat properly. Kindergarten through 2nd grade teachers are eating lunch with the students and helping them learn table manners and inside table voices. If you would like your child to have a hot meal, please consider purchasing the meal ticket through the school or perhaps using a lunchbox with a thermos. *Starting Monday, August 18th meals will not be microwaved for Preschool through 2nd grade.
